The Rural Engagement Scholarship at the College of Nursing provides $375,000 annually to support rural nurses seeking to complete advanced nursing education in the following programs:

Scholarship applicants must:

Scholarship Application ​Rural Health Information Hub
  • Be admitted to one of the degree or certificate programs listed above
  • Hold an unencumbered RN or APRN license in Texas
  • Work in a rural health care facility in Texas, as designated by the ​Rural Health Information Hub
